Republicans see advantage as Sanders pulls Clinton to the left
With the Democratic debate on two nights ago everyone is giving their opinions on how they think Hillary did. While many Democrats are thinking she did well, the Republicans are happy about some of the answers she gave. She was drug a little more to the left than she usually is which is odd because she usually stays in the middle ground and never really goes out on a limb. The credit for this goes to Sanders because he was shaking her off her game many thought. She no doubt is a very great candidate, she might be a little overrated because of the lack of competition she is debating against. She was able to be the center of attention because of this lack of opposition. The Republicans like how she moved more left because they believe that turned some Democrats away.
This relates to class because it is a debate between several possible presidential candidates. We learned about Democratic views and how some Democrats have stronger views in certain situations than others. I think it is good for Republicans that Clinton is a little off her platform. This could lead to more people not agreeing with what she believes therefore it takes votes away from the candidate.
